Mrs. Cathy Harris To All Instructors

Hello! I am excited to introduce myself. I live in Warrenton with my wonderful husband and four children. My two high schoolers attend Champion's classes. I have been homeschooling for 12 years and teaching or tutoring other students as well for most of those years. I love teaching! It is such a joy to be a part of lightbulb learning moments and engage students in insightful conversations. My teaching experience is predominantly in language arts, particularly writing and grammar. I have a certificate to teach writing through the Institute of Excellence in Writing. I am also a professional editor and published author and have a heart to see young people find their unique, creative voice as they aspire to become excellent writers. In addition, I have a B.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia, where my family is from. We are dedicated Georgia Bulldog sports fans. Go Dawgs!
